喝水的乌鸦

Crow. Define as smart, clever thinking animals. usually also define in fable as filial piety. As in custom and belief, it have a totally different character, which as a bad omen.
During traditional story line of the crow and the pitcher, the crow was said to be clever enough to use stone to raise the water level in the pitcher so it could able to drink the water. Since it is a story, other ways such as topple the pitcher, break it using a stone or drop it from higher ground, will not be oour consideration. Lazy people always find the other ways.
There have been prove crows is clever enough to use tools and even ask help from human.
Next, the story tell that the crow find stone to level up the water from a river. It might symbolises several phenomena. As we on the way to pursue our dream, we might work too. We may been nearer to our dream but you have to let go the thing you already have (the pitcher). We might have long listen to the story how our parent, our precursor have succeed. We might even having the experience how to do a thing. Then, we found pebbles by the river. And letting go is hard, changing is painful. Life is difficult. Choices to be make.
But I like to make things simpler, for the crow, it need no to be regret. As it found a river, the pitcher is full. Drink the water.
Of course, that is another story.
